What is a CCG? - Unlike traditional card games, such as poker or UNO, where the deck's content is limited and pre-determined, CCG players select which cards will compose their deck from the available pool of cards. This allows a CCG player to strategically customize their deck to take advantage of favorable card interactions, combinations and statistics. What is Magic: The Gathering? - In a game of Magic, two or more players are engaged in a battle as powerful planeswalkers. A player starts the game with twenty life points and loses when he or she runs out of them. The most common method of reducing an opponent's life is to attack with summoned creatures, although numerous other methods exist. There are other ways to win or lose the game, but loss of life is the most common. Read more about it on the official MTG site. People make money doing this? - Yes. In fact, over a million dollars is given out each year as prize support for the official Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour, sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. For more info, check out the offical Pro Tour site. What MtG products do we carry? - We carry a ful line of MtG
CCG products, including all in-print expansions and assorted supplementary
items, such as deck boxes and binders. We have an extensive selection
of single cards for sale. What do I need to play? - Each player needs to have their own deck of cards to play. Decks are available to play out of the box, with prices from $12.29. Additional cards, either from booster packs or purchased individually, can be mixed into your deck. |
